Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of thatfolio.com, app.thatfolio.com, and our portfolio creation and hosting services. The service is operated under the name thatfolio (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Questions can be sent to joshua.apollo13@gmail.com.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to agree to these terms or have any permission required from a parent or guardian. If you act for someone else or an organization, you must have authority to do so.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and use an email address you control. Keep passwords, sign-in links, and access credentials private. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.
Do not impersonate another person, use someone else’s account without permission, or create accounts to evade usage limits or an account restriction.
Trial and usage limits
The standard free allowance includes one full AI generation and two section regenerations. The trial lasts 60 minutes from the first generation. When it ends, editing and publishing may be locked, but trial expiry does not automatically delete your saved work.
Generation is subject to account allowances, connection limits, available capacity, and abuse-prevention controls. A one-time publishing entitlement does not include unlimited AI generation. Any promotion or complimentary entitlement applies only when granted to your account and is subject to the offer shown.
Price and checkout
The standard publishing offer is US$10 once for one portfolio, with no recurring subscription charge. Any applicable promotion and final amount are shown at checkout. Publishing access is enabled only after the service verifies the checkout or an authorized complimentary grant.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Live checkout charges the amount shown when you confirm payment. thatfolio does not receive or store your full card details.
For a checkout problem, billing concern, or refund request, email joshua.apollo13@gmail.com with the relevant account email and checkout date. Do not send full card details. Nothing in these terms limits refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable law.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the resumes, text, images, and other material you provide. You must own that material or have permission to upload, process, share, and publish it, including any personal information about other people.
You give thatfolio permission to store, copy, process, format, and display your content as needed to provide the features you use. This includes sending relevant source material to our AI provider when you request generation, making shared content available to authorized collaborators, and hosting material you choose to publish. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Our application, branding, templates, and supplied assets remain subject to their applicable intellectual-property rights and licenses. Using them in your portfolio does not give you ownership of the underlying service or the right to resell supplied assets as a separate collection.
AI-generated content
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output produced for others. Review and correct generated information before relying on it, sharing it, or publishing it. You are responsible for the claims made in your portfolio, including qualifications, experience, and project contributions.
We do not guarantee that AI output is unique or free of third-party rights. The service does not guarantee employment, interviews, admissions, or other professional outcomes.
Publishing and collaboration
Publishing makes your portfolio and any included public download attachments accessible to visitors and search engines. Check for private information before publishing. A private source resume is not automatically included as a public download.
Where shared editing is enabled, invite only people you intend to give access to and choose their roles carefully. You remain responsible for reviewing content before publication. Visitors and external services may keep copies of public material after you change or remove it.
Portfolio addresses are subject to availability, reserved names, and restrictions needed to prevent impersonation or abuse. Creating a portfolio address does not transfer ownership of the thatfolio.com domain.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, phishing, harassment, malware, or content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not attempt to access another user’s private information, bypass access controls or usage limits, disrupt the service, or interfere with its security.
Report suspected misuse or rights violations to joshua.apollo13@gmail.com, identifying the relevant page and explaining the concern. Include only information necessary to investigate.
Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, source files, AI requests, published content, and service records. Third-party sign-in, checkout, and external websites are also subject to the relevant providers’ terms and privacy practices.
Availability and account restrictions
We work to keep the service available, but maintenance, technical failures, or provider outages may interrupt access. Keep your own copies of important source material and exported work. Features may change as the service develops; these terms do not remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
We may restrict an account or public content where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, a security threat, abuse, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and permitted, we will explain the restriction and how to contact us about it. You may stop using the service at any time. Data access and deletion requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. You are responsible for your publication decisions and for verifying information generated by the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory rights concerning the service you receive. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes and contact
We will publish updates to these terms on this page with the updated date. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the service or an appropriate account contact before they take effect where required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights under an existing purchase.
For questions or disputes, contact joshua.apollo13@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue. Your right to use any complaint process or legal remedy available under applicable law is preserved.
